Upstream appoints Dr Jan Powell as Vice President of Research

We are thrilled to announce the appointment of Dr Jan Powell as Vice President of Research.

Jan has spent more than 20 years engaged in biomedical research, including 7 years in R&D with Shire Pharmaceuticals, where she was responsible for the strategic direction and scientific leadership of the CNS Project, driving towards the delivery of lead candidates into early development.

Jan’s experience in non-clinical discovery and development, proof of concept studies, and project management will be instrumental to Upstream as the team continue to develop diagnostic tools to assist in effectively managing the triage of patients in the troponin grey-zone.
